Teaser Tuesdays
I'm joining in on a new (for me) weekly meme, "Teaser Tuesdays".
Here is what you do...
Grab your current read
Let the book fall open to a random page
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
Be sure not to give a spoiler!! (very important)
The book I'm currently reading is "Birds of a Feather" by Jacqueline Winspear. The sequel to "Maisie Dobbs" and here is my teaser..
page 213
She closed the door behind Maisie and led her to the drawing room, where a teapot and two cups were set on a tray with some biscuits.
Maisie took a seat on the settee and once again removed her gloves. Despite extra clothing she still felt the cold, in her hands as much as in her feet.
If you want to check out all the "teasers" for good suggestions on what to read, check out the blog Should Be Reading.

Now I'm hungry for biscuits. That tea should warm Maisie up.
How are you enjoying the Lace Reader which I noticed in your sidebar? I saw someone reading it on the train this weekend and was curious about it.
Any book that contains tea is ok in my book...sorry pun unintentional
Ooh, I so want to read this series! I've got the third book (I think), but must get my hands on the first two first!
I really want to read this series! I want to finish another series that has a similar setting first, although I am sure that when I do finally read Maisie I will find very little similarity!g
